Chris Reich, Business Speaker

BizPhyZ will challenge the way you look at business. After years of studying both business and physics, I have 'discovered' a relationship between the two.

Understanding how the laws of physics relate to business will open your mind to new possibilities. Your business has great potential that you probably never knew was available. Be sure to read the articles I've posted and feel free to comment.

I wish to present you with some new ways to look at business.

I give business talks and do amazing physics demonstrations. No boring stuff! I guarantee you've never heard a marketing presentation like mine.

What do whales and aliens have to do with marketing? You'd be surprised and amused to learn how understanding whale communication can improve your marketing plan. But aliens? Sorry, I can only let that secret out to people who hire me.

My goal is to give you enough information to understand the basic laws of physics and how they apply to business. I'll do it in understandable terms with  fascinating stories and very interesting demonstrations.

I love thinking. Can we think together?

Physics

  • (used with a sing. verb) The science of matter and energy and of interactions between the two, grouped in traditional fields such as acoustics, optics, mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism, as well as in modern extensions including atomic and nuclear physics, cryogenics, solid-state physics, particle physics, and plasma physics.
  • (used with a pl. verb) Physical properties, interactions, processes, or laws: the physics of supersonic flight.
  • (used with a sing. verb) Archaic The study of the natural or material world and phenomena; natural philosophy.

Business (noun)

  • an occupation, profession, or trade: His business is poultry farming.
  • the purchase and sale of goods in an attempt to make a profit.
  • a person, partnership, or corporation engaged in commerce, manufacturing, or a service; profit-seeking enterprise or concern.

Wow! Chris Reich is an amazing speaker!

I give business speeches and presentations using really cool physics demonstrations to teach business concepts.

You've seen this:

Do you know what it means?

It means that matter (stuff) contains a huge amount of energy. It really means that is energy is matter in a 'frozen' state.

There is a huge amount of energy in a something as small as a box of paper clips. If you could release all the energy in a box of paper clips, you would blow up your office. In fact, you would probably blow up your entire city---no matter how big your city is.

It is not easy to unlock that energy or we would power our cities with paper clips.

But if there is that much energy in something  employees casually discard or embezzle, think of how much energy is contained in the rest of your business!

Just think about that. Now, let's release that energy!

Chris Reich uses Physics to Teach Business

I have been developing the Physics of Business for the past 10 years. It began when I realized there is a correlation between astronomy and business. Then I did an extensive study of Murphy's Law and project management. Why do things go wrong?

There are laws of physics at work that push your project off target.

One day, while preparing a talk on Newton's Laws, it occurred to me that those same laws applied to business. Laws of heat, gravity, motion and even sub-atomic particles have business applications!

If you want to hear a fascinating presentation that will directly benefit your business, contact me. I'll go anywhere to speak or teach these valuable, entertaining concepts.

Why Can't You Save Time?

Is Time Linear?

Is Time Travel Possible?

Those are all mysterious and tricky questions. But what about this one: If your work day was reduced by 1 hour, would you get less done? And if you were suddenly required to work 1 more hour per day, would you get more done?

Work time has a relativity that effects everything we do. Work time relativity puts most projects way behind schedule and over budget. Work time relativity kills productivity. And work time relativity causes millions of lost hours in meetings.

Do you know what work time relativity is? It's probably your greatest and least understood cost. Incredibly, it can be controled in your favor!
